Tanya’s practice is grounded in a fascination with the many ways metal can hold colour. She works with silver, copper, brass and glass, building surfaces that feel discovered rather than decorated.

Nature is her deepest source of inspiration: alive, intelligent and interconnected. People, fairy tales, legends and everyday moments also find their way into the work. For Tanya, each contains a treasure waiting to be transformed into wearable art.
